Information:

To honours the overlooked Human-Centered Innovators from the grassroots level, HumCen Global (P) Ltd., desired to find and recognise these Innovators in every part of the world for their Novel efforts.


This Award seeks to discover the hidden potential and best innovative practices of the individual, Researcher, Academician, entrepreneurs and organisation with a Human Centered Mindset called ‘Human, The Centre of the Design”.


We have put forth very simple norms and processes to bring those intellects into the limelight and establish a forum to bring Unnoticed intellects into the Big Stage. The process starts with self-nomination or nomination by others in various award categories. All the registered nominee’s stories will go through by our juries and the deserved nominees will receive the respective Award in the Mega Virtual Award Ceremony hosted by HUMCEN CO.


Celebration and Recognition are not only for those who have reached a big stage but also for those deserved people who want to reach the big stage!

Terms and Conditions:

• Interpretation and Definitions:

The words wherein the initial letter are capitalized have been defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in the plural.

• Affiliate means an entity that controls, is controlled by or is under common control with a party, where “control” means ownership of 50% or more of the shares, equity interest or other securities entitled to vote for the election of directors or other managing authority.

• Country refers to India (Tamil Nadu).

• Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to HumCen Global (P) Ltd.

• Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cell phone or a digital tablet.

• Service refers to the Website.

Accounts:

• When You create an account with us, You guarantee that the information You provide to Us is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Inaccurate, incomplete, or obsolete information may result in the immediate termination of Your account on Service.

• We solely reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our discretion.

Intellectual Property:

• Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of HumCen and its licensors. Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of India and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of HumCen Global (P).Ltd.


• The participation the Award accepting the nomination to accepting the award constitute permission for HumCen Co to use the participants name, image, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further requests.

• The nominees understand and agree that HumCen Co, anyone acting on behalf of HumCen Co, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast. distribute, and to use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the world, without limitation, the nominees, finalists and winners ‘entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the awards, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes, without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.

• In case such authorization is revoked, the awarded participant shall notify HumCen Co of this one by sending an email to info@humcen.com at least three (3) days before the Awards ceremony.

• By Submitting an application, any participant represents and warrants that the content of the application is an original work of authorship, and does not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights.If a submission infringes upon the intellectual property right of another, he/she will be disqualified at the sole discretion of HumCen Co.

• If the content of the entry is claimed to constitute an infringement of any proprietary or intellectual proprietary rights of any third party, the participant shall, at his/her sole expense, defend or settle against such claims. The participant shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the HumCen Co from and against any suit, proceeding,claims.liabilities.loss, damage, costs or expenses, which the HumCen Co may incur, suffer or be required to pay to arise out of such infringement or alleged infringement of any third party’s right.

• Participants are fully responsible at all time for the protection of their intellectual property within the framework of their participation in the awards.

• We respect the intellectual property rights of others. It is Our policy to respond to any claim that Content posted on Service infringes on the copyright or other intellectual property rights (“Infringement”) of any person or entity.

• If You are a copyright owner or authorized on behalf of one, and You believe that the copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, kindly submit Your claim via email to Type in the email of Your Copyright Agent, with the subject line: “Copyright Infringement” and include in Your claim a detailed description of the alleged Infringement, under “Indian Copyright Act, 1957.”

CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS:

a) Applicants who do not progress to the Top 100 stage or beyond will not receive notification.

b) Entries will not be returned.

c) Applicants will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in connection with submitting for the office actions.

d) HumCen Co is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries and any data breach.

e) Upon submission, each Applicant grants HumCen Co a non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free, and worldwide license to use and modify the Application, in whole or in part, for commercial and all other purposes, with no payment or any other consideration, for use in media now known or hereafter discovered, in perpetuity, to the extent legally permissible.

f) By entering this Contest, each Applicant forever discharges and releases the HumCen Co from any and all liability, claims, causes of action, suits, and demands of any kind (“Claims”) arising from or in connection with the Contest.

g) The Applicant also indemnifies the HumCen Co from all Claims arising from third parties in relation to the applicant’s participation in this Contest or the breach of any of these Terms and Conditions by the Applicant.

h) Each Applicant warrants and represents that they:

i) own and have unrestricted rights to all intellectual property rights in all of the content of their Application materials and that they represent their own (and no one else’s) original work; and

j) have the authority to submit these materials and to grant the license described herein.

k) By entering this Contest, each Applicant shall fully indemnify the HumCen Co for all third party Claims arising directly or indirectly from breach of this warranty and/or representation.

l) Each Applicant agrees to any HumCen Co using their name and likeness in publicity without notice or any additional compensation, except where prohibited by applicable law.

m) The winner acknowledges that HumCen Co has the right to publicize and broadcast the winner’s name, voice, and likeness, the fact that they won, and all matters incidental thereto. HumCen Co is not obligated to attribute an Application to the Applicant who submitted it.

n) At any time at HumCen Co’s discretion, an Applicant may be required to provide proof of compliance with any of these Terms and Conditions. An Applicant shall provide proof of compliance within 7 days of the request being made.

o) Winners will be solely responsible for any and all taxes incurred by their participation in the contest. HumCen Co will report or withhold any individual winnings in accordance with applicable law.

p) HumCen Co reserves the right to terminate the Contest without awarding the Prize if no eligible winner claims the Prize within the required time.

NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, HUMCEN CO MAY REQUEST ANY OF THE WINNERS TO RETURN THE AWARD ON THE FOLLOWING GROUNDS;

(a)was not, in fact, eligible in accordance with all of the requirements of section 2 of these Terms and Conditions at the time the application was made; or

(b)submitted any Application material that was false or misleading in any way; or

(c)commits a breach of any Term and Condition and that breach is irremediable or (if that breach is remediable) fails to remedy that breach within a period of 20 days after being notified in writing to do so; or

(d)repeatedly breaches any of these Terms and Conditions in such a manner that its conduct is inconsistent with it having the intention or ability to give effect to these Terms and Conditions (as may be determined at the sole discretion of HumCen Co); or


(e)is declared bankrupt or makes any arrangement with or for the benefit of creditors or has a Court Order or Order of Tribunal for repayment of loan to its creditors (or equivalent Court outside India) made against him or her; or


(f)commits any fraud or dishonesty or acts in any manner which in the opinion of HumCen Co brings or is likely to bring a HumCen Co Member into disrepute or is adverse to the interests of a HumCen Co; or


(g)commits any offense under any applicable anti-bribery or corruption laws; or


(h)commits a tax evasion facilitation offense under applicable law or regulation of India or elsewhere; or

(i)ceases to have the mental capacity under the Indian Contract Act,1872, or any other relevant laws or regulation in force; or


(j)conducts himself or herself by act or omission in such a way as to bring the science and technology profession or any of the HumCen Co Member’s into disrepute or to be adversely prejudicial to the interests of any of them (as may be determined at the sole discretion of HumCen Co).


These Terms and Conditions are subject to written modification by HumCen Co in its sole discretion and any modification shall be binding upon all Applicants being notified of the same.

This Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by applicable law in India. Each of these Terms and Conditions is subject to applicable law in India.

These Terms and Conditions constitute all of the terms and conditions that relate to the Contest and Prize and supersede and extinguish all previous discussions, correspondence, negotiations, drafts, agreements, promises, assurances, warranties, representations, arrangements and understandings between them, whether written or verbal, relating to the Contest and the Prize.

An applicant’s rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions may not be assigned, transferred, mortgaged, charged, declared a trust over or dealt in any other manner.

If any Term or Condition or part-Term or Condition is or becomes invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, it shall be deemed deleted, but that shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions do not give rise to any third-party rights.

This Contest and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India, without regard to any conflicts of law principles and applicable laws in India.

Any and all claims or disputes arising out of or in connection with this Contest or these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction in Tamil Nadu, India.

Limitation Of Liability

Except as prohibited by any law in force, You will hold Us and Our officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental, or consequential damage, however, it arises (including attorneys’ fees and all related costs and expenses of litigation and arbitration, or at trial or on appeal, if any, whether or not litigation or arbitration is instituted), whether in an action of contract, negligence, or other tortious action, or arising out of or in connection with this agreement, including without limitation any claim for personal injury or property damage, arising from this agreement and any violation by you of any central, state, or local laws, statutes, rules, or regulations, even if the company has been previously advised of the possibility of such damage.


Except as prohibited by any law in force, in case there is liability found on the part of the company, it will be limited to the amount paid for the products and/or services, and under no circumstances will there be consequential or punitive damages. The central law may not allow the exclusion or limitation of punitive, incidental or consequential damages, in some cases/ circumstances, so the prior limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.


Termination:

These Terms and Conditions constitute all of the terms and conditions that relate to the Contest and Prize and supersede and extinguish all previous discussions, correspondence, negotiations, drafts, agreements, promises, assurances, warranties, representations, arrangements and understandings between them, whether written or verbal, relating to the Contest and the Prize.

An applicant’s rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions may not be assigned, transferred, mortgaged, charged, declared a trust over or dealt in any other manner.

We hold the right to terminate or suspend Your account and bar access to Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of Terms.

If You wish to terminate your account, You may simply cease to use Our Service.


All provisions of Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

Governing Law:

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, under Indian Contract Act, 1872, Indian Copyright Act, 1957 without regard to its conflict with any other provision of law in force.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have had between Us regarding Service.

Disputes Resolution:

In case You have any concern or dispute about the Service, You agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the Company. We support Alternative Dispute Settlements over Litigation and would try to resolve the dispute amicably. In case of Litigation, You adhere that the jurisdiction would be Tamil Nadu, India.

The right to withdraw or amend our Service is held by Us, and any service or material we provide via Service, in Our sole discretion without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason all or any part of Service is unavailable at any time or for any period. From time to time, We may restrict access to some parts of Service, or the entire Service, to users, including registered users.

Terms may be amended by Us at any time by posting the amended terms on this site and it is Your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
